FAQ
When does Takeout ship?
2-3 months. We are a team of 2, and will be hand soldering, 3D printing and assembling units ourselves.
What's the difference between the Kit and Assembled units?
The kit ships as components you build yourself. You will need a soldering iron, a screwdriver and some patience. Functionally, the kit is the same as the assembled unit, same guts but lowered price.
Do I need to install drivers?
No. Takeout is class-compliant USB MIDI, meaning if your device supports MIDI, it supports Takeout
Can I use two at once?
Yes, Takeout was originally designed for dual use. You could technically use 127 with one USB port, but that seems excessive
Does it work with X software?
It works with any software that supports standard MIDI input with custom mapping
